The Scientific Based Compatibility Matchmaker
This is the only matchmaking website that uses a completely new form of patented scientific approach, called the Compatibility Matching System, to pair up two highly compatible individuals of the opposite sex. The matching system, founded by USA’s renowned clinical psychologist Dr Neil Clark Warren, was based on a 35 years of clinical and empirical research on thousand of couples to determine what makes a successful marriage.

The credibility of this scientific matching system when tested by the American Psychological Society discovered that eHarmony’s married couples are considerably happier than those couples married, by other means, for a similar length of time. In a way, one can say that the system save a lot of busy singles time, effort and including all the hassle of having to go through a matching process on their own. With its matching system an individual can study about people thoroughly before getting involved and making commitments. Hence, owing to its serious approach it is definitely not the site for those seeking fun and casual relationship.

It is for those earnestly looking for life-time partner and lasting relationship. But, eHarmony is not basically a Christian dating or matching site for Christian singles. However, I suppose, just by stating your religion and that you are only interested to meet up with people in this category besides supplying your other personality profile, you should be able to get matching respond from serious Christian singles as well.

The Matching Process
To start off you need to generate a free personality profile which takes time and can be extensive owing to the step by step questionnaires provided in the eHarmony’s couple matching system. It should generally takes about 45 minutes to complete the profile. From the data you provided to the system it will attempt to match your ideals, personality type/description, your likes/dislikes, your profession and status, etc. with some other person closest to your requirements.

With the completion and submission of your personality profile you should be receiving, through email, a supposedly accurate matching profile plus photo of the person or choice of people of the opposite sex. But, this will come at a cost if you choose to contact that person or a those people whom you would want to establish a relationship. You will have to pay for the effort provided by Compatibility Matching System if you wish to make contact with that person or list of people supplied to you.

What Do You Get For Paying
If you decide to pay in order to make contact, you start off the screening process by selecting 5 multiple choice questions, provided from a list of about 30 to 40 questions, to be answered from those people in the matching list. If you receive answers to your 5 selected questions from one or more people in the list you get the chance to respond back by answering 5 questions requested by them.

Once this two-way communication process gets on the way, you may continue to do so and narrow down your choice of people in the list and be more serious and personal in some of the questions you choose. You may exchange on subject of “likes and dislikes” from the list of questions and get more serious and direct to the point by writing personal questions instead of choosing from the list of questions from the system. Once both sides are getting familiar and getting to know more of each other, this is when the email exchanging process, via the eHarmony site, commences.

But, at this stage, everything still remains completely anonymous and all you can see from your side is only the respondent’s first name, provided you decide to reveal more personal details about yourself. I suppose the final outcome of this method of screening process is to narrow down to one or two person of your choice before you finally zero in to meet face to face with the person of your choice.

Subscription For The Dating Service
For those who wish to test out the system, you can go for the free trial which will provide you with a section of its eHarmony Marriage Profile to read and full-length video to view.

Those who decide to subscribe to eHarmony online matching service can pay subscription for different periods as follows:

  • 1 month subscription is $49.95

  • 3 month subscription is $99.95
($33.32 per month save about $16.63 monthly)

  • 6 month subscription is $159.95
($26.66 per month save about $23.29 monthly)

  • 12 month subscription is $249.95
($20.83 per month save about $29.12 monthly)

Summary
This is basically quite expensive site compared to other online matchmaker to look for someone on the net. Like anything that is scientific and is R & D founded and patented one would normally expect to be costly. Don’t eHarmony’s system is based on 35 years of scientific research. But, if you are serious about searching for that someone who matches your personality profile scientifically why not give it go. I am sure that someone who matches your personality profile is worth more than what you pay to find.
